We are particularly pleased to have been our client’s choice to represent him in the sale of this outstanding motor car.Owned and restored by one of the most respected Aston Martin specialists, this Vantage X-Pack has been the subject of the most meticulous full restoration over the course of the last three years achieving a finish that we have not seen the like.

CHASSIS & BODY

Prior to chassis and body restoration, every component, fitting and fixture was removed, refurbished or replaced. The body was then completely stripped with any metal less than perfect, replaced. Following the painting of the body to the standard shown in our images, the reassembly process stated. Sunken badges

ENGINE

Prior to restoration, the engine had covered some 50.000 miles. Applying the same level of attention to detail, this Tadek Merrek V8 has been tested before reinstallation maintaining it to the original 580/X specification. The exhaust system was replaced with new again to the original specification but in stainless steel.

INTERIOR FITTINGS & FIXTURES

If possible, even more stunning than the exterior. With the main leathers finished in Champagne complimented by Dark Blue, a much softer shade than Magnolia or Parchment. Re fitted and upgraded to POW specification incorporating, the cubby behind the sunken switches on the lower centre consol and large capacity centre arm rest compartment lined in Dark Blue hide and fitted with the cigar lighter. Driven by a Blue Tooth compatible head unit, the 8 speaker entertainment system has been beautifully installed using both original speaker location and additional such as mid range units incorporated in the new door pockets with chrome speaker bezels as seen in DB7. Crafted into the door veneer capping is the smaller higher range units balance by a set in the rear of the cabin fitted in the rear safety belt real leather shrouds. Not satisfied with the finest Wilton carpeting, the owner has tailor made over mats which feature the Aston Martin winged emblem set into the pile of the carpet so as to avoid the edges becoming tatty and lifting. A single piece of Wilton has been tailored and leather bound to fit the boot floor hiding the spare wheel lid and fixings and the underside of the boot lid trimmed to match. The leather head-restraint pads have been embossed with these famous wings and to crown it all, the engine is fired by way of a crystal starter button as found in more modern models first appearing in 2003 model year Vanqhuish.

Having covered some 1,000 shake down miles since completion, we have been asked by the vendor to make it clear that, subject to an acceptable offer, further minor alterations to the general appointment and finishing of this vehicle can be undertaken.Referred to by a V8 Vantage customer recently as ‘sleeping giants’ and supported by recent market sales results, it is becoming increasingly harder to find a good Vantage X-Pack for less than £100,000. It is with some confidence that we suggest this example is almost certainly the finest available today.
